Was just messing around with the focus to see what it was capable when I took this one.

Downtown Greenville Photos Shoot!

I've been wanting to go into downtown Greenville to take some photo's for a couple weeks. So yesterday I went down there to finally do it. Found some pretty awesome things to shoot and I really like how the water features turned out. Enjoy!

Also saw this brand new beautiful Nismo 370z and just had to shoot it as well.

Number 9

I like using lots of degree of focus if you haven't noticed by now. Here's another such shot. It's of a disc golf hole from Century Park.

Gas can in my garage. Enough said.

Baseball Time!

So I'm not athletic at all. Never really played baseball. In fact I don't even know why we have this baseball glove. But we do. And I took a picture of it.

Railroad

So I was out playing disc golf with my friend Adam the other day when he pointed out a set of railroad tracks that would be good to shoot.

And so I did.

Croquet

I've been playing croquet since I was a little kid. I saw our set sitting in the garage the other day and couldn't help but think about how good I might could make it look.

Get Down with the Lowness

Some people say my car is now too low.

I say it is not low enough.

Your opinions?

V8 Power!

So this chassis with a turboed and intercooled V8 strapped to it was probably the coolest thing at Elite this year. It actually managed to catch my eye along with maybe only two other cars. Enjoy!

Kickball!

So a group of friends and I got together yesterday to play kickball at Heritage Park in Simpsonville.

It's been a long time since I've played kickball or anything athletic for that matter but it was a lot of fun. Probably would have been more fun if not for the fact that I got literally no sleep the night before. Anyways....on to the pictures!

Reflection

That shot is one of my personal favorites. I love the way everything is faded out except the rear wheel on my car and the reflection of the S2000. It's one picture I finally managed to capture just the way I wanted.

Also just to note, unless otherwise stated none of my pictures have been enhanced with Photoshop or edited at all. It's purely what the film captures.

And We're Back!

Wow!

It's been over a year since I started this and only a little less since I left it sitting on the shelf collecting dust. More has changed since than I could have guessed, and while laying in bed tonight, unable to sleep, I felt a random urge to start this up again.

So in keeping with that spirit, I've gotten rid of all the old, boring, rambling, useless posts and am starting with a fresh slate.

One of the more exciting things to happen in the last year, to me at least, is my sudden interest in photography. Several of my co-workers have nice DSLR cameras and after seeing the images they were capable of producing I was eager to get into it. However as usual there was a problem with that, mostly it being a money issue. Nice quality cameras don't come cheap. I could save up the money no problem, but there was never a time where that same money wasn't needed more immediately somewhere else.

As luck would have it though my dad had an older Pentax ZX-M SLR film camera lying around that he hadn't used in ages. Even better he had a 50mm, 28mm, and a telephoto lens as well as a flash.

So to make a short story even shorter I have been playing around with the camera for the last several months. It's become a really enjoyable hobby for me. I'm going to use this blog to showcase some of my photography, as well as update you with some random thoughts.

In order to start this off properly, here are some of the photo's I have taken thus far.
