New Camera!
So I finally invested in a DSLR. Picked up a Pentax K10D with a f/3.5-5.6 18-55mm lens. I also still have my old f/1.7 50mm Pentax lens which mounts on the camera as well. That lens doesn't support autofocus but thats not a big issue.
Now that I finally have a DSLR I can say that it was definitley worth the price. Being able to shoot anything you want without worrying about it being trivial or a waste of film is nice. Also being able to review photos instantly to see how your settings are working out is extremely useful. It is packed with a ton of other features as well but I won't go in depth. Suffice to say I am extremely pleased with the camera on all levels.
Shot a few photos over the weekend and I'm pretty pleased with how they came out especially considering i'm still getting used to the camera. I like the kit lens a lot as well, especially considering it was only $70.
